Abstract:
The study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of applying Augmented Reality technique in teaching science for developing creative thinking skills among the ninth grade female in Gaza. To achieve the objectives of study, the researchers used the experimental approach. The population of the study consisted of seventy three female students in the Ninth Grade in Abdul Qadir Al Husseiny Basic School in Khan Yunis City, two classes were chosen, one of them was taught by the traditional instructions (controlled) while the other was taught by using Augmented Reality Techniques (Aurasma Application). The validity and reliability of the test was checked to apply it.
The study found the following:
<!--There were statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group in the post test of creative thinking.
<!-- Electronic mind maps achieved high effectiveness (Black=1.22) in developing creative thinking skills.
In the light of previous results , the researchers recommended with the necessity for thinking about developing all units of science using Augmented Reality technique. And to hold workshops for the teachers to train them to apply it in the learning-teaching process.
