The Arab Human Security Network
AHSN
The Arab Human Security Network is a newly established Non Governmental Organization (2011), currently based in Damascus, Syria.
It was founded by emerging the coordination committees of Alyarmouk society (Non profitable org) and the Arab Network for Research on Landmine and Explosive Remnants of war, In order to highlight the growing human security issues in the Arab countries and promote actions required.
AHSN members are from most of the Arab states in the fields of
Development; Environment; Disarmament; Survivors and affected communities; Public Health Professionals; Academics; Media as well as Psycho-Social support
At this preparatory period, AHSN is focusing on Health and Security, Violence, Children in Armed Conflict, Disarmament, and Environment
