Abstract:

This research gives a linguistic and artistic approach of the novel "Acre and the Kings" for the Palestinian writer Ahmad Rafeek Awad  on both form and content.

This research shows that the beginning of the novel "Acer and the Kings" is  a descriptive related one. Time arrangement in the novel devotes to beautiful forms. The writer managed in building his characters according to the action and the development of struggle. The narrative views are different, but all have the same objective which is showing the development of actions. The selection of the main characters didn't only made them heroes, but also gave the recipient a chance to see a vastly narrative view and gave the topic a deeper meaning.

The research showed also that the distance becomes further in the novel and the physiological mood in their reaction together as well as with time and events. The writer chose the words that suit the style, the dialogue was limited in the novel as narration dominated.

The research also showed that the characters and the events move in  "Acre and the Kings"  a free movement away from the dictatorship of the writer and his domination, the views are varied, which made the style so lively. The narrative style overtook the referent historical text, so as to present an imaginary narrative entity that has literary not historical features.
