My father has passed away,

I wish he would stay,

But death is not to delay,

Its time, no way,

He was such a good example,

As he was truly humble,

With people, he was so simple,

For good, he could never stumble,

For God, he was fearful,

To laws, he was respectful,

With us, he was truthful,

For the most part, he was careful,

Bless our heart as well as our soul,

And our sins , erase them all,
