أنالستُ دُمُيَةْ
هاتِ الرَسـائِلَ والأشْعـارَ أحْرِقُها 
ماعُدْتُ أصْبِـرُ لِمَنْ كانَتْ ليَ قَدَرا
أُشْرِبْتُ كأساً مِمَنْ كانَتْ ليَ خَمْراً
وَكُنْتُ مِنْ خُدامِها عـَبْداً وَمُؤتَسرا
هاتِ الرَسائِلَ ماعُدْتُ أطيقُ غَـدي
المَوْتُ أفْضَـل ُمِنْ عَيْشٍ بِهِ كَـدْرا
تَكَسَرَتْ أضْلُـعي والعُمْرُ أضْناني
الأسْرُ أدْماني والعَيْشَ لي قهرا
أصْبَحْتُ عَبْداً فَكُنْتُ لِلْناس ِمُؤْتَمِراً
أتَهوينَ العَذابَ لِمَنْ كانَ لهُ صَبَـرا
أمْ كُنْتُ دُمْيَتُكِ التي تَتَلاعَبينَ بِهـا
تَسْرَحينَ وَتَمْرَحينَ فَكُنْتُ لَكِ خَمْرا
يَكْفيني أسِرُكِ فأنا لِلْمـوتُ مُمْتَثِلٌ
أضَعْتُ عُمْري في هَـواكِ مُؤتَمِرا
