Foreword:-
The project ′′Marine Aquaculture Development in Egypt is Financed by the Italian Egyptian Debt for Development Swap Program/ Phase n.2 (2007/2012), signed on 3 June 2007. The 2 swap agreement is giving to the Arab Republic of Egypt the opportunity to implement a Project aiming at growing and consolidating the aquaculture sectors. For the den fit of Egyptian and Italian stakeholders, both at public and private levels.
The project is a leading action in fishery and aquaculture sectors, supporting the dialogue between the Egyptian private and public actors through a global assistance. Specific instruments will be implemented such as a technical window for the enterprises, a forum for consulations and commercial/ demonstrative activities, focused on seed production (marine hatchery) and on cage unit management.
