Guiding Questions:

What additional learning and practice do learners need in order to use their skills fluently, independently, in a range of situations?

Step 8 appears to bring us to the end of the cycle, but the notion of an on-going learning spiral, through which students continue to learn and build competence in many areas, brings us back into the cycle anew. Students may be ready to address a new priority or they may want to continue focusing on the same goal, working either on the same Standard or choosing another.
