- The learner cannot be considered aside from his environment.

- We must not mistake conformity for learning.

- Faith in human nature is essential to Teaching.
- Teachers need to appreciate what a normal child is.
- Teachers at any school level need to accept graciously all the pupils.
- Eagerness to do things is not restricted to only bright children.
- Education is a matter of time and place.
- The School’s obligation is to the pupil at hand, not to the next college.
- Test scores have to be used.
- The child does not want an easy school; he wants a challenging one.
- A school programme does not stand still; it goes either forward or backward.
- Interest enhances effort.
- A teacher may tire a class, just as a class may tire the teacher.
- The pupil should stand at the centre of the organization of the school.
- The right method for one teacher may be wrong for the other teacher
