This report represents a preliminary study about the potentiality of production of TiO2 in Egypt in relation with the geological localization and mode of occurrences of the ilmenite resources in Egypt

High quality TiO2

          This report includes an introduction which contains definition of the mineral sources of tio2 and the importance of titanium in many strategic industries and pigments. It includes also the world production of ilmenite according to the available information.

The second part of the report includes description with figures and maps for the ilmenite resources in Egypt and the geological reserves. The main resources of ilmenite in Egypt are present in black sand deposits along the North Nile Delta and Sinai coastal zone.

The last part of this report includes a conclusion which represents the importance of TiO2 production in Egypt. Also it includes some important points necessary before starting investment in a great project for TiO2 production.
