Allah says in El Quran that He has created people  from  a male and a female to know each other (and not to be isolated  from each other )and He stresses the most honourable of them is the most pious so Eslam is a religion of peace as it calls for a peaceful dealings with other people whatever religion they believe in and as long as they don't attack Muslims or their beliefs.

(يأيهاالناس انا خلقناكم من ذكر و أنثى وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا ، ان اكرمكم عند الله اتقاكم ،ان الله عليم خبير) الحجرات13

O mankind! We have created you from a male and a  female,and made you nations and tribes so that you may know one another.Surely the most honourable of you in the sight of Allah is the most pious of you.Indeed Allah is All- Knowing,All- Aware
