Table manners
Children should learn table manners when they are very young. They will ashamed if they grow up with some bad habits that are to be difficult to be eradicated later on. So they should be given the fundamental rules at this early age to grow adapted with such good social habits. I will give you some tips that might be useful when you bring up your child according to the proper manners.
1. Eat with a fork unless the food can be only eaten with fingers.
2. Don't stuff your mouth with food. It looks gross.
3. Chew the food with your mouth closed. People don't like to hear you chomping on the food.
4. Don't gobble up the food. Eat slowly. Enjoy the food that someone has prepared for you
5. Don't bend over the plate. Don't put your elbow on the table. Only forearms and wrists can rest on the table.
6. Cut food into small pieces. Don't eat a whole one.
7.Use the napkin only to wipe your mouth not to blow your nose. Don't blow your nose or clean your face. If you need to do any of those, execuse yourself and go to the bathroom.
8. Don't reach over someone's place. Ask somebody to pass this thing to you.
9. Don't pick something from your mouth. If it bothers you, go to the bathroom.
