Preface

The Red Sea is a distinctive and unique tropical sea, and the only enclosed Coral Sea in the world

Since 1975 I have been a professional diver and photographer working on the east coast of the Red Sea. In this book I will share with you some of my impressions obtained during those exciting and fantastic time in Saudi Arabia

For me, diving in the Red Sea, to enjoy its beauty, its colours, its life and struggle, the strange and the well known, the symmetry and harmony, has become part of my life and way of living. Still, after hundreds and hundreds of hours under water, after all I know and all I have seen experienced, the Red Sea remains an unparalleled source of surprises, entertainment, and beauty
