<!-- ParagraphBodyStart -->Drying
of dead bodies without the use of chemicals is the secret of
mummification, which was retained by the pharaohs more than thousands
of years ago, which scientists kept looking for the key to that secret
during all those years and yet nothing was discovered about it
.
With these words, Emad William Halaka, the social worker in El Montaza
educational management, revealed from his new research his success to
the professors of anatomy, School of Medicine, Alexandria University,
in the mummification process, which took place with a "hand of
mankind." This got approved and certified that he has done successfully.

Mice and chickens
First, Emad William explained that his experiments of discovering the
pharaoh’s secret of mummification that started a while ago on rats and
chickens and rabbits without the use of any chemicals, and succeeded
after several attempts to preserve the dead bodies from any damage
caused by sepsis, provided till the end of the experiment in a place
free from moisture and insects.
He
said that the salt of Natroun has 3 jobs, the first is to speed up the
embalming of the body absorb water and the second to assist in the
drying of the fat and finally turn to the portfolio as usual.
Amulets and Scrolls
He
noted that all teachers of the autopsy who checked his researched
confirmed that his way of mummification is a completely new method used
in the mummification process. According to other professors who
researched the secret of mummification before, it is believed that the
mummification process was done as the following steps.
First,
the opening of the abdomen and taking out the viscera, then adding all
different kinds of spices, perfumes “Alhnot” and chemicals, then the
development of amulets and putting the body in the grave which are all
known techniques and steps. However, "drying a dead body" without the
use of any chemicals has not been discovered yet.
From what
Emad William concluded that the drying process of the body is the most
important stage of the mummification process, which is sufficient to
maintain the body from decomposition effectively. There is no
importance of adding “Alhnot” or to put in the body, wrapped in coil
1) THE SIZE (THIN OR FAT).
2) AGE.
3) WEATHER AND CLIMATE.
NOTE: THE TIME OF DRYING IS NOT FIXED, AS MENTIONED THE MAJORITY OF SCIENTISTS, WHICH IS KNOWN AS 40 DAYS.
THE SALT OF NATROUN IS AN INITIAL MATERIAL TO DRY THE SUBSTANTIAL GREASE (FATS).
ALSO, I DISCOVERED THAT I CAN MAKE THE DRYING PROCESS WITHOUT THE SALT OF NATROUN, BUT THIS SALT IS CONSIDERED AS A HELPING FACTOR,
1) IN MAKING THE PROCESS OF DRYING MORE QUICKLY.
2) AS A KEEPING MATERIAL.
ALSO, I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS NO NEED TO PUT THE PERFUMES AND SPICES AND WRAPPING INTO CLOTHES, TO SAVE THE MUMMY FROM DAMAGE, BUT IT IS A WAY TO SHOW THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL LEVEL OF THE DEAD AND HIS FAMILY AND SHOWING THE APPRECIATING LEVEL OF THE FAMILY TO THE DEAD, ALSO, IT PROTECT THE BODY OF THE DEAD FROM BEING BROKEN.
The Secret
1) Taking out some parts of the body, such as the stomach, brain and lungs
2) Putting the salt of wadi el natroun, inside and outside.
3) Putting the body in a pottery incubator
4) Closing the incubator and making only a small opening in the top of the incubator
5) Putting the pottery incubator on fire (the body must
not touch the incubator, by putting the body on a pottery bed inside the incubator)
6) Until the hot air which is raising from the opening, reached an exactly degree, we stop the fire
7) Closing the incubator tightly
8) Putting the incubator in the sun to a period, depending on: the weather and the volume of the body
9) We break the incubator, and get out the body, putting perfumes on the body, then wrapping with clothes and putting in a place with no humidity
