Forest is defined as a plant community grown on extensive of the land, characterized by the domination of trees and other woody plants.

 Forests are either natural or man-made?

 Forest is a climax vegetation formed  as a result of the plant succession process of a hydroser or xerosere.

 The natural forests are either natural or man-made?

 Man-made forest are artificial wood lots for timber production.

Forestry Science is defined as the proper management of the forests to get a sustainable supply of the benefits from the forest.
