Hoda Dahroug has a long career in both the private sector, International Development Organizations and public sector. Mrs. Dahroug worked for 15 years in the IT business sector moving up the ladder from being designer and programmer up to being manager and consultant. She gained superior experience in both technical and managerial sides of the industry.
After that she made a shift in her career to invest her skills and knowledge in the socio-economic development using ICT as a tool. Both the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the United Nations Development Program UNDP-Egypt were interested in Mrs Dahroug to lead the national Egypt ICT Trust Fund (ICT-TF) as a Deputy Director starting from July 2007. Mrs Dahroug has fought for the sustainability of socio-economic development targeting different sectors such as Education, Arabic e-content, Agriculture, Health, Disabilities, Small and Medium Enterprises, and social entrepreneurship where she was inspired by the power and enthusiasm of young people that believe poor communities in Egypt can contribute to the productive development of the nation if they are given opportunities and direction. Under her supervision, Egypt ICT Trust Fund gained a lot of international recognition for its role in the socio-economic development through being nominated in the World Summit Award, Stockholm Challenge, UAE Educational IT challenge, The Arab e-content Award, and E-India Award.
Egypt ICT Trust Fund vision is : "The Egyptian community bridges the digital gap with recognized sustainable economic, social and environmental improvement in citizens' lives"
2)Inas Sobhy
Information System Director at Professional Academy for Teachers
Mrs. Inas Sobhy, eContent consultant for Educational Development project for MOE & MCIT for the special needs project and the vocational educational project as well., studied physics, chemistry and educational sciences at Ain shams University, at Cairo.
She continued her education: PHD researcher in Teaching Technology field, Ain Shams University, Master Degree in "The Effectiveness of Virtual Classroom In Developing The Environmental Concepts & Solving Problem Skills "at Ain Shams University, and gained the following diplomas: "Environmental Sciences”, Ain Shams University, "Teaching Technology", Cairo University, "Methodology of Teaching & Curriculum Reaches "; Chemistry Dept., Ain Shams University.
Mrs. Inas Sobhy, Project Manager for the educational projects at ministry of education, Egypt such as eContent Development Project, eTwinning Project and Oracle Academy Project at Ministry of Education - Egypt with a wide range of experience in Education, Teaching Technology, eLearning, Database Programming Languages, Database Design Global Judgment and Quality Assurance for over 18 years’.
· Mrs. Inas also received many awards, such as A Certificate of Appreciation for the 1st place over the ministry of education and the 2nd place over the ministries in "Government Leaders' Academy", National Management Institution, MSAD, 2011.
· Honor certificate for outstanding performance in "Judgment Global Data Modeling Competition" for Oracle Academy 2009 & 2010.
· Honor certificate for outstanding performance an extraordinary achievement in EEI (Egyptian Education Initiative) – World Economic Forum, Nov. 2006
