The statue of Thutmosis III offering two nw jars

God Amen-Re was the supreme god in the New Kingdom time, and king Thutmosis III was a faithful man for this god and for that reason he dedicated many of his statues for this god and also he made two statues offering nw jars for this god in the desert as a way of respect and adoring.
Now we are in front of one of the statues of Thutmosis III holding nw jars in his hands for libation to the god Amen-Re in the desert (containing milk or wine). This statue is made out of grey granite, it was found in the cachette of Karnak. King Thutmosis III is represented here in kneeling position or in praying attitude holding the jars for libation. He is represented here as a king with all signs of royalty as the nms headdress, the sndyt kilt, the ureaus attached to the forehead and the false royal beard, and also this time he is represented with his delicate features. Under his legs e can see the representation of the nine bows symbolizing the enemies of Egypt. Also we can hieroglyphic inscription at the back of the statue as well as the base and the belt.

Life for the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, the stable form of Re, beloved of Amen-Re

Son of god Re from his divine body, the child of Thot, beloved of Amen-Re
At the end of his hair we can notice the lock of hair of god Re known as Lapis Lazuli
