The village of Kufr Aan is located in the North of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Irbid Governorate in the south-eastern part from the center of the Department / Kufr Assad (about 10 km). It has the advantage of being the region adjacent to the area of West Irbid. With a population of 2548 people, its tribes are from Sawalheh, Azzam, Abu Zaytoon, Lababneh, Abu Al Foul, Rahabneh, Gharaybeh, Haddad, Garadat and other families.

To the north of the village, there are the village of Kufr Rahta and the village of Qmeim - to the east, the village of Jumha - to the south, the village of Deir El Sa'nah - and to the west, the village of Hofa Al-Wistyah.

The color of the land in the village  is almost brownish red with a few stones here and there, and the structure of the land is nearly a flat plain, but in the south, there passes a deep valley which is filled with rocks, stones and pebbles.

People work in government posts, agriculture and trade. In the northern side of the village a 60 m wide street passes consisting of two lanes separated by an island planted with trees and plants. And it connects the Jordan valley and the other villages with Irbid Governorate.
