ABSTRACT
Geohpysical Well-logging techniques were applied to study groundwater inside ten exploratory wells of average depth 200m for each, in the area that surrounds the site of Inshas research reactor (250 km2). The studied wells penetrated different aquifers ranging in age from Quaternary to Eocene.
Lithology and stratigraphy of the penetrated rock units were determined, hydrological properties of the local aquifers inside the studied wells were defined, and the petrophysical properties of each stratigraphic and lithologic units penetrated by the wells were interpreted.
