                        Summary and Recommendation

The research is performed to measuring the effect of using fertilizers on the economic and productivity efficiency for summer maize in Alexandria governorate. In order to fulfill the above objective the research depends on the descriptive and quantitative economic analysis. A questionnaire was applied for a random sample about 120 farmers during the agricultural season (2015-2016).

The research had come to some important results and conclusion can be summarized a,.

<!--Grading the agriculture administration of Alexandria governorate according to economic and production indicators for maize, it has been found that Korshed administration come first then Ameria, El-Maamora and Borg El-Arab in the end.

<!--In case of using the Optimum size of chemical and organic fertilizers it is realized that: (a) Feddan productivity of maize in Korshed reached to 25.21Ardab with value of  7.56 thousand EP which is more than the average actual productivity with about 1.3 Ardab with value of 387 EP and with about of 271 EP for the net revenue, (b) Feddan productivity of maize in El-Maamora reached to 21.43 Ardab with value of  6.4 thousand EP which is more than the average actual productivity with about 1.35 Ardab with value of 405 EP and with about of 295 EP for the net revenue, (c) Feddan productivity of maize in Ameria reached to 24.35 Ardab with value of  7.3 thousand EP which is more than the average actual productivity with about 1.47 Ardab with value of 441 EP and with about of 312 EP for the net revenue, (d) Feddan productivity of maize in Borg El-Arab reached to 18.62 Ardab with value of  5.58 thousand EP which is more than the average actual productivity with about 1.54 Ardab with value of 462 EP and with about of 346 EP for the net revenue.

<!--By using the optimum size of fertilizers it is realized that: (A) The amount of summer maize output will increase in the four agriculture administrations (Korshed, El-Maamora, America and Borg-El-Arab) with about 2.13, 0.66, 38.8 and 16.7 thousand ardab respectively and for Alexandria governorate with about 58.3 thousand ardab, (b) The net revenue of summer maize will increase in the agriculture administrations (Korshed, El-Maamora, America and Borg-El-Arab) with about 0.45, 0.14, 8.32 and 3.75millionEPrespectively and for Alexandria governorate with about 12.57million EP.

<!--Changes of chemical and organic fertilizers prices will cause changes in its quantity used in producing summer maize and it has been found that of the price of the fertilizers increase by 10% the quantity of the fertilizers used will decreased therefore the output will decrease behind.

Lastly in light of the results the research can suggest some recommendation such as: (1) The quantity of chemical fertilizers must be available to the maize farmers in time and with a reasonable prices, (2) Executive control on selling and distribution the fertilizers with reasonable prices and to avoid monopoly, (3) Great effort must be taken towards agriculture extension to introduce knowledge to the maize farmers, (4) Adopt the optimum size for economic resources uses for maize production.
