Naqada is a small District, it is located in the west bank of river Nile in Qena Governorates. Kome El Dabie village is one of the satellite villages within Naqada District, it was known in Ancient Egypt as "Nubt" its name derives from ancient Egyptian nub, meaning gold. It stands near the site of a necropolis from the prehistoric, pre-dynastic period around 4400-3000 BC. Kome el dabie village is encompass population reach to 15000 person, 48% of the population is females,  about 65% of the villages ranging from 15-65 years old. The village economy is poor depends on agriculture, handicrafts and small trade activities.
