Nutopia ... above us only sky

In 1971 the United Nations refused to recognize the conceptual country Nutopia. Birth of this country was announced by John Ono Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono Lennon.
"DECLARATION OF NUTOPIA - 1 April 1973
We announce the birth of a conceptual country, NUTOPIA.
Citizenship of the country can be obtained by declaration of

your awareness of NUTOPIA.

NUTOPIA has no land, no boundaries, no passports, only people.
NUTOPIA has no laws other than cosmic.
All people of NUTOPIA are ambassadors of the country.
As two ambassadors of NUTOPIA, we ask for diplomatic immunity and recognition in the United Nations of our country and its people.

Thousands of people all around the world made their free choices to be citizens of Nutopia. They followed John Lennon and his wife Yoko who declared a simple fact that supports their activism for love and peace. Although quiet a lot of years passed since John was assassinated, citizens of Nutopia still exist to celebrate his birthday every year. His wife Yoko is globally active to urge world populations to act peacefully.
Yoko Ono built a peace tower in the island of Viðey in Reykjavík, Iceland, in memory of her late husband John Lennon. She called it IMAGINE PEACE TOWER and lights it every year on October 9th to celebrate John's birthday with the four corners of the planet. http://imaginepeacetower.com is where everyone can easily communicate to express awareness of Nutopia. Yoko Ono Wish Tree is always there to exhibit peace wishes from all around the planet. "Tell all your friends. Spread the word!" Yoko says and continues: I hope the IMAGINE PEACE TOWER will give light to the strong wishes of World Peace from all corners of the planet. And give encouragement, inspiration and a sense of solidarity in a world now filled with fear and confusion. Let us come together to realize a peaceful world.
Love is our energy.
Wisdom is our power.
It's time to shed light to all corners of the world.
Enjoy the trip we make together."
As an ambassador of Nutopia, by choice, the lady is actively representing her conceptual country faithfully and raising awareness side by side with her late husband whose song Imagine is still a real anthem that describes the ideas behind the birth of his country that is still waiting for legal acceptance by the UN. The song says:
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there's no country
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Convention on Rights of the Child UNICEF got permission from Yoko Ono to launch the song Imagine which offered millions of people the chance to record their own versions of the Lennon classic using an iPhone and iPad app.
Here we can easily notice that even the UN is using the song of John Lennon to educate kids all over the world how life must be lived in order to achieve sustainability that needs human rights for old and young as a vital tool. Hence all countries must wake up before it is too late. The song is also mentioning environmental threats and dangers like wars and hunger. "Environment includes the interaction of all living species, climate, weather, and natural resources that affect human survival and economic activity." Such an interaction must be harmonious and peaceful for a sustainable future.
It is the age of stress that needed someone like John Lennon, "the most influential political artist of the 20th century", to rise up and say no. People were waiting for someone to open their eyes on truth. "What Lennon did achieve was to educate us all to the idea of world peace." "When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life." He said and expressed what life is all about in his songs. John was fighting the stress of the societies in all countries with his songs. He fully described that the politicians were wrong and urged people to revolt and take a stand against war. To express his feelings about the fact that Elvis Presley passed away he said: "Elvis died when he went into the army". Such was the cutting wit of a deeply loved and sadly missed giant of the twentieth century.
The age of stress continues to build up through wars and displaced populations. Global warming is seriously threatening Nutopia that is divided and ruled. Nevertheless the imagine peace tower is still shining. The loud voice of John Lennon is still vibrating to wrap us with hope. As long as environmental awareness is a must for the survival of the planet we can never give hope of legal recognition that planet earth has got no boundaries. Only politicians play the game of splitting the human race into pits and pieces so that they can divide and rule.
