A relief on the west wall of the Horus Shrine in the Seti I Temple at Abydos shows an enthroned Osiris wearing the “atef” crown. The Horus Shrine is one of three small shrines that are located north of the Inner Osiris Hall.
The relief is part of a scene in which Osiris is offered incense by pharaoh Seti I, who is just outside the frame of the picture. Osiris says to Seti: “My eldest son, my first-born, I am your father, who created your beauty, I bore you to do that which pleases me.”
