الى الرفيق الأعلى

عشرات الألاف من الناس يطوفون حول بيت الله الحرام . كلهم مسلمون , انتهى عهد الأصنام و الأوثان , أنتشر الأسلام في ربوع الجزيرة العربية . انه مشهد مهيب لحجة الوداع , كانت حشود كثيفة وهائلة من البشر يتابعون رسول الله (صلى الله علية وسلم) و هو فوق ناقته القصواء يستمعون اليه و هو يخطب فيهم خطبة الوداع , حدثهم كثيرا عن خلق المسلم , و أداب الأسلام التي يجب ان يتحلوا جميعا بها , عليهم ان يتركوا الرذائل و الأفعال السيئة , ليقطعوا علاقاتهم بالربا و أعمال الجاهلية .

و كان من بين ما قاله لهم (صلى الله علية وسلم) : ان دماءكم و أموالكم حرام عليكم كحرمة يومكم هذا في شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا , ألا كل شئ من أمر الجاهلية تحت قدمي موضوع , أيها الناس انه لا نبي بعدي و لا أمة بعدكم , ألا فاعبدوا ربكم و صلوا خمسكم وصوموا شهركم و أدوا زكاة أموالكم , طيبة يها أنفسكم , و تحجون بيت ربكم وأطيعوا ولاة امركم , تدخلوا جنة ربكم .

شهدت جموع الحجيج للنبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) حين سألهم : هل أديت الرسالة؟ . و هتفوا بقوة : نعم , نشهد أنك بلغت الرسالة , و أديت الأمانة , و نصحت الأمة . سألهم ثانية : هل بلغت الرسالة؟ . قالوا : اللهم نعم . ثم سألهم ثالثة , فأجابوه بنفس الأجابة . هنا رفع النبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) اصبعه الى السماء و قال : اللهم فاشهد , اللهم فاشهد , اللهم فاشهد .

و في أيام الحج نزل قوله تعالى * اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم و أتممت عليكم نعمتي و رضيت لكم الأسلام دينا * المائدة:3- . و عندما سمعها عمر بكى فقيل له : ما يبكيك؟ قال : انه ليس بعد الكمال الا النقصان . كان الموقف في غاية الجلال شعور بالراحة و السعادة تكتسح القلوب لتمام الدين , و ان كان هناك شعور بالمرارة و الحزن لأن النبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) قد أومأ بكلمات لها دلالتها أنه في أخر عهده معهم , و لن يلقاهم مرة ثانية . و قد نزلت عليه سورة من القرأن تنعاه الى نفسه , و هي قوله تعالى * اذا جاء نصر الله و الفتح و رأيت الناس يدخلون في دين الله أفواجا فسبح بحمد ربك وأستغفره انه كان توابا * سورة النصر- .

كانت كل الشواهد تؤكد ان النبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) يقترب من الخاتمة ففي رمضان الأخير أعتكف عشرين يوما بعد ان كان يعتكف عشرة ايام , و قرأ القرأن على جبريل مرتين بعد ان كان يقرؤه مرة واحدة . و ذات يوم شهد رسول الله (صلى الله علية وسلم) جنازة فلما رجع أخذه صداع في رأسه اتقدت الحرارة حتى أنهم يجدون الحرارة فوق العصابة التي تعصب بها رأسه , و هكذا بدأت رحلة المرض مع رسول الله (صلى الله علية و سلم) .

و بعد أيام من مرضه (صلى الله علية و سلم) خرج النبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) متوكئا على علي و الفضل , حتى جلس على المنبر , فحمد الله و أثنى عليه ثم قال : أيها الناس بلغني أنكم تخافون من موت نبيكم , هل خلد نبي قبلي فيمن بعث , فأخلد فيكم ؟ ألا و اني لاحق بربي , ألا و انكم لاحقون بي , فأوصيكم بالمهاجرين الأولين خيرا , و أوصي المهاجرين فيما بينهم , و أوصيكم بالأنصار خيرا , فانهم الذين تبوءوا الدار و الايمان من قبلكم .

كان (صلى الله علية وسلم) يوصي قبل موته بالنساء خيرا , و يوصي بالصلاة , ثم اشار الى السماء و قال : الى الرفيق الأعلى ... الى الرفيق الأعلى . فارقت روح النبي (صلى الله علية وسلم) الشريفة الطاهرة جسده صاعدة الى بارئها ...نعم .. مات رسول الله (صلى الله علية وسلم) و لم يصدق الصحابة الخبر , قام عمر بن الخطاب و قد استل سيفه و زأر بغضب قائلا : لا , لم يمت رسول الله (صلى الله علية وسلم ) و الله ليرجعن رسول الله (صلى الله علية وسلم) فليقطعن أيدي رجال و أرجلهم يزعمةن انه مات .

و أقبل ابو بكر فدخل على رسول الله(صلى الله علية وسلم) و هو مغشي بثوبه فكشف عن وجهه ثم أكب علية فقبله و بكى , ثم خرج أبو بكر فأقبل عليه الناس فقال : من كان يعبد محمد (صلى الله علية وسلم) فان محمدا قد مات , و من كان يعبد الله فأن الله حي لا يموت  قال سبحانه و تعالى * و ما محمد الا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل أفان مات أو قتل انقلبتم على أعقابكم و من ينقلب على عقبيه فلن يضر الله شيئا و سيجزي الله الشاكرين * أل عمران:144- .  لكأن الناس لم يعلموا أن الله أنزل هذه الأية حتى تلاها أبو بكر فتلقاها منه الناس كلهم فما يسمع بشر من الناس الا يتلوها .

كان (صلى الله علية وسلم) احلم الناس , اشجع الناس , اعدل الناس , اعف الناس , اسخى الناس , كان يخصف النعل و يرفع الثوب و يخدم في مهنة أهله , و كان أشد الناس حياء لا يثبت بصره في وجه أحد . كان (صلى الله علية وسلم) يجيب دعوة الحر و العبد و يقبل الهدية و لو جرعة لبن و يكافئ عليها و يأكلها و لا يأكل الصدقة و يجيب دعوة المسكين . يغضب لربه و لا يغضب لنفسه , و ينقذ الحق و ان عاد ذلك عليه و على اصحابه بالضرر .

كان (صلى الله علية وسلم) يعود المرضى و يشهد الجنائز و يذهب الى بيوت المساكين ليعزى المصابين و يواسي المنكوبين , و يمشي وحده بين أعدائه بلا حارس . و لم ير أكرم منه لضيفه , و كان لا يأكل وحده بل يدعوا أصحابه ليأكلوا معه . كان (صلى الله علية وسلم) أرحم الناس بعياله , وكان اذا مر بالصبية يقرؤهم السلام و يقبلهم و يلتزمهم و يكنيهم فيستلين به قلوبهم . و كان أبعد الناس غضبا و أسرعهم رضا , وكان أرأف الناس بالناس و خير الناس بالناس و أنفعهم للناس .

كان( صلى الله علية وسلم) يمتلك الأخلاق العالية , اللهم صلى وسلم و بارك على عبدك و رسولك محمد و على أله و صحبه وسلم.

                                        The prophet's Death

Thousands of people circled the sacred house 'Kaaba' . Islam spread in the Arab peninsula , no more Idols . It was a solemn view for the prophet's farewell pilgrimage . Lots of people followed the prophet who was riding on Al Qaswa , his camel , giving them his farewell speech . He talked to them about the Muslim morals and the ethics of Islam which they should adhere to they should give up vices and cut all ties with usury and the pre-Islamic doings

Among what he said was : Your blood and money are sacred like that day , in that month , in that country . Every related to the pre-Islamic age is under my feet . O, people , no prophet would come after me , and no nation after you , hence , worship Allah , perform the five prayers , fast Ramadan , pay the aims willingly and do pilgrimage to go to Paradise

Did i inform you Allah's Message ? 'asked the prophet

Certainly, you did . you informed the message , performed the trust and advise the nation . 'replied the people

He asked the same question for the second and third time and received the same answer . Here the prophet (pbuh) lifted his finger to the heaven and said : O, Allah testify , O, Allah testify , O, Allah testify

In the days of Pilgrimage , Allah sent down the verse * This day , I have perfected your religion for you , completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion * Al Ma'ada:3- . When Omar heard it , he wept . Asked why , he replied : nothing after perfection but decreasing . The situation was so much solemn and great . Feelings of relaxation and rejoicing filled the hearts , other feeling of bitterness and sadness were there , because the prophet said some words that mean that these were his last days and that he would never see them again . Another chapter of the Holly Qur'an came down to announce him his death * When there comes the help of Allah and conquest . And you see that the people enter Allah's religion in crowds so glorify the praises of your Lord and ask His forgiveness . Verily , He is the One Who accepts the repentance and Who forgives * Al Nasr Sura

Everything affirmed that the Prophet (pbuh) was about to die . The prophet (pbuh) used to stay in the mosque every Ramadan for ten days . In the last Ramadan , he stayed for twenty . He also used to read Qur'an for Gabriel once , this year he read it twice . One day , the prophet (pbuh) attended a funeral . When coming back , he suffered from painful headache and fever to the extent that they could feel it upon bandage over his head . Here , the journey of illness started with the prophet

After some days of his illness , The prophet (pbuh) came out leaning on Ali and Al Fadl . He praised Allah and glorified Him , then said : O, people , I was informed that you fear your prophet's death . Was there any other prophet eternized befor me , So that i might be eternized ? I am coming forward my Lord , and you are all coming forward me . I recommend you to do good to the first immigrants , I recommend the immigrants to do good to each other . I recommend you to do good to the supporters as they were who had homes in Madina and had adopted the faith before you

Before his death , the prophet (pbuh) recommended doing good to women . He also affirmed on prayers . Then , he pointed up to the heaven and said ; To the supreme Lord , to the supreme Lord . The noble virtuous soul departed the chaste pure body .......yes , the prophet (pbuh) died...... his companions did not believe . Omar Bin Al Khattab drew up his sword and roared angrily : No , The prophet did not die . I swear by Allah that he will come back . May the legs and hands of the people who claimed that he had died be cut off

Abo Bakr Al Seddique came along . He entered to the prophet (pbuh). Finding him covered with his dress , he bent down upon him , kissed and went weeping . When he went out to the people . he addressed them : Whoever worships Mohamed (pbuh) , he has died , Whoever worships Allah , He is the Ever Living and never dies , Allah said * Mohamed is no more than a messenger and indeed many messengers have passed away before him , If he dies or is killed will you turn back on your heels ? And who turns back on his heels , not the least harm will he do to Allah , and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful * Ala Omran:144- . It was as if people had never heard this verse before . They all went reciting it

The prophet (pbuh) was the most tolerant , the most courageous , the fairest , the purest and the most generous . He repaired his shoes , patched his dress and helped his household . He also was the shiest and never gazed at anyone's face . He always accepted the invitation of a master and slave , accepted the present even if a mouthful of milk , gave reward for it and ate it as not a charity and answered the invitation of the poor . He got angry only to his Lord and never to himself and applied the right even if it did harm to him or any of his companions

He (pbuh) visited the ill , attended the funerals , went to the houses of the needy to console , the sufferers and walked alone before his foes without a guard . None ever was seen of more hospitality , he never ate alone but invited his companions to share him the food . He was (pbuh) the most merciful with children . When he passed by kids , he greeted , kissed , stayed with and surnamed them to get them closer to him . He was the slowest to get angry , the fastest to get pleased , the kindest , the best and most useful to the people

He had a great Morals , Prayers and peace from Allah be upon him
