Assessing the per capita water footprint of crops in Egypt and calculating the virtual water imported and exported

The current research aims to calculate the water footprint of Egyptian crops, estimate the water footprint per capita from the crops under study, and determine the percentage of dependence on external water sources versus self-sufficiency. Additionally, the study assesses the national self-sufficiency of water available for agriculture and Egypt's total exports and imports of virtual water for the crops under examination.
